This February I got the wonderful honour of collaborating in my first ever styled shoot at the stunning Standon Hall in Staffordshire. The shoot was organised by the very talented Sarita at Let Love Be Events, here's a little look into the day...

The venue
We were welcomed into Standon Hall by the most friendly team who really do take pride in their venue, each room is emmaculate and every space has been specifically designed right down the finest detail.
The venue itself is an Edwardian Grade 2 listed Mansion, sprinkled with modern luxury and a touch of quirky, giving all couples exclusive hire of the building and grounds for their special day. The venue features a beautiful, light open ceremony room looking out across the stunning gardens and grounds, with luscious green fields as far as the eye can see, but it's reception room is just as beautiful, infused with natural light, grand walls and gorgeous chandeliers to make any wedding a grand affair.
Wherever your guests choose to celebrate, there is something for everyone, including a quiet seating area away from the party, a small nook style living room, the bar with seating areas for a relaxed refreshment, and it also boasts a kids entertainment room and a gents whisky room tucked away for some quiet sipping.
That's not all though, if you head up the stunning staircase (perfect for photos of the happy couple), you are met with a series of exquisite bedrooms, featuring the most beautiful beds and bathrooms you've ever seen, and each bedroom complete with the most beautiful countryside views.

The day
The day began with the arrival of some amazing wedding suppliers (find out more below), as we set up the various rooms ready for a photo shoot. The ceremony and reception rooms began to transform into the most beautiful wedding set up featuring our chosen colour palette for the day, this year's colour of the year Mocha Mousse. This colour is so elegant but easy to use as there are so many shades to consider, but we made sure to use a range of tones to add depth and delicate beauty to every element of the look.

To get the day going, wonderful photographer Tess Viera got to work capturing the most beautiful photos of the venue, grounds and suppliers at work. Tess focuses on natural wedding photography and she did not disappoint! She was working alongside videographer Danny Lavalette of Lavelette Productions, creating stunning video footage, he even brought his amazing drone! Check out his incredible video footage here.
Decor stylists Design Elegance Weddings then got to work adding style and flair to the rooms focussing on warm candle lighting, romantic mocha mousse floral displays and golden table accents for extra class. We then added stationery from yours truly and extra details such as a sweet cart and welcome sign by the lovely Carley from Minnie's Events, as well as an ice cream cart in the garden by the amazing Elevent Hire, Cake and Macarons by the amazing One Cake Street, and lastly, personalised lollies provided by Emily's Lollies.
Prepping for the ceremony were John Welch, celebrant for the day, and the wonderfully talented wedding singer Francesqua. Meanwhile prep was taking place upstairs with our gorgeous models Sarah & Martin...
Whilst downstairs was taking shape, our models were suited and booted upstairs with a stylish suit from Brigdens, and beautiful bridal gown from Elsie May Bridal, with hair and make up styled perfectly by the lovely Adele. Finishing the look, beautiful natural floral bouquet and buttonholes were added by Flowers With Love.
The shoot
So without further ado, here are the stunning photos taken over the day showcasing a beautiful venue and gorgeous wedding set up. Doesn't this just make you swoon for a mocha mousse wedding!
